That said, at 10 months, when she discovered it hidden in our office, she did love it. The complaints I have about this toy are as follows: it's really heavy, and the cord is really short (that is probably for non-strangulation or something).
Now that she is walking she is totally not interested in the phone. Anyway, when your child tries to lift up the receiver to talk, she will inevitably lift up the entire phone and then when she puts the receiver down, she is likely to drop the heavy phone on her foot.
This phone was on sale, so I decided to get it for my soon-to-be 1 year old. The voice that announces all the numbers is kind of funny, but not the most annoying voice ever.
However, the packaging says that there is a pull cord hidden near the battery, so if your kid likes to drag things around by a cord, there may be some appeal to a walker, too. I think you can easily give this toy to a 9 month old and up, because once they start walking this toy will lose a lot of its appeal.
She loved to hit the buttons and listen to all of the sounds and music.
He is currently 10 months and I am sure he will put more use to the toy once he is older. My son loves to hit the number and the song is very pleasant, not annoying at all. Great buy.
However, I was surprised when it was delivered that it was different colors than it appears on the website and I did not care for the colors of the one we got, but perhaps I'm just finicky that way. I bought this toy to give as a gift and it went over well.
Couldn't recommend this more. Now she's 19 months and she drags it all over as a pull toy. Most other toys kids play with a couple times and then they are done, but this is a keeper. My daughter very first started playing with this at about 5 months. She LOVED to poke the buttons, slam the head set down, etc.
Over all this is his favorite toy. etc. I love the fact this toy has an on/off switch. My child loves to push it, punch in numbers, listen to the songs.
